Synopsis: Good acting by James Woods (as Alcoholics Anonymous cofounder Bill Wilson) in this Hallmark made-for-TV docudrama, and the events described are reportedly largely accurate if incomplete. Good character building as we follow Bill W. through his stockbroker successes to his alcohol excesses, and his inability to control the latter. With Bob Smith (James Garner), he eventually forms the basis for what later became the familiar AA.
