We used a two-page version of W Magazine's mention of LifeRing Secular Recovery as part of a mailing that went out today from the Service Center to 22 treatment facilities in the Rochester, MN area.
W Magazine is the reigning arbiter of high fashion. It has a following in all kinds of places, including -- I found out Wednesday night -- among certain night duty nurses at a local substance abuse treatment center, who encouraged me to post a photocopy on the center's bulletin board.
Today's mailing was a follow-up to our first mailing to Rochester treatment centers in August. This time they got a neon-pink flyer announcing the Friday night Rochester LSR meeting, suitable for posting, plus the W Magazine item, plus a copy of the new "Presenting LifeRing Secular Recovery" book.
If nothing else, the W Magazine cover should get some attention.
