  LIGHTHOUSE TIMES

  There does come a time
  when the struggles lessen
  and  do not require
  near constant thought and vigilance
  there really does

  A day will come to a close
  and with surprise, 
  maybe even shock
  we find no craving hours
  anywhere in it

  These are the lighthouse times
  when sobriety's beacon 
  so diligently built, does its work
  guiding our ships to shores
  in sweet silent safety
