You Know We're Here

(If LSR  had a voice, it might say this:)

You know we're here, with listening  ear
when monsters roar so loud,
and call you back to limbo-land
where fears around you crowd.

You need to whine and wail awhile?
Let it all hang out?
Do it here and now, my friend,
You can even shout!

Shout it down, that urge to use
lean on shoulders strong
cry it out then start again
amidst this caring throng

You have not been where we have not
we'll help you find the way,
as many times as it may take
to find your sober day

And then, as one day turns to two,
then three or four and more,
the dungeon we have  known  so long
opens up its doors

Forgotten things do enter in
once held so very dear,
new life seeps slowly, surely in
while slowly exits... fear
